do this- embrace the new food pyramid!

priorities are changing, and the food pyramid has done a total 180. in january this year, the USDA released an updated version of the dietary guidelines for americans- now heavily prioritizing protein, dairy, and healthy fats, with a minimum of grains/ bread.

while this has caused some controversy, i’ve felt that transitioning my diet has given me much more natural energy, and has caused less meaningless snacking!

have you tried to eat more meats and protein since the new food pyramid was released? thoughts?

do this- stay full for longer

everyone has been riding the protein train recently, and i’m no exception! i love being full for longer with protein, and less carbs, which eventually convert to sugar anyways. eating lots of protein has s0 many benefits for you both physically and mentally.

these 25 foods look delish, and i’m itching to try (almost) all of them!

do you eat any of these protein superfoods? which is your favorite?
